June - November 1989
During my pregnancy with Krissie, we moved several times. Our first home was a quaint little 2 bedroom house on Sunshine Street in Baker, Louisiana. We were able to stay here for about a month. After the nice elderly lady (I think her last name was Westmoreland... it started with a W) that we were renting from passed away, her granddaughter came banging on the windows in the middle of the night, telling us that the old lady was dead and that the house was now hers and that we had to leave immediately. I remember thinking how horribly rude this person was... and disrespectful to her grandmother.
