In the late 1970s, my friends and I loved listening to Shaun Cassidy, Blondie, Kool & the Gang and a few other groups that I don't recall just now. We would get the record player (yes those black vinyl round things actually played music) and play such songs as Celebration, Da Do Run Run and The Tide is High over and over and over and over. While listening to these songs (and others) we would either ride our bicycles around the front yard in circles or skate (yes roller skate - those 4 wheeled shoe thingies) up and down the driveway.
Back then, we didn't have such a thing as Video Games or computer games. We had to find a way to entertain ourselves.
